We were up at Donegal Lake fishing all day and did not catch anything. We started fishing for with orange power bait. We let it sit on the bottom for 18 minutes and then something hit it slowly. We thought it was a blue gill so I tugged back on the rod and by some miracle I hooked it and brought it in close to shore. What we were about to see amazed us. It was a big GOLDEN TROUT. It had to have been 56 inches long. When I tried to bring it in the last few feet to shore, the line snapped. It happened 5 years ago and I'm still sick over it.
