My daughter, Taylor was staying with my parents at their summer home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, when she caught a whopper of a fish. She was fishing of the dock when they noticed that they had a fish on. Well, Taylor and her Nana started to reel it in. They thought it was a bass at first but to their surprise it was a Rainbow Trout. They called for Papa to help them with the net. He himself hadn't seen it yet and thought it was also a bass until he got down there to the dock. When they finally landed the trout it was quite a catch. The rainbow weighed in at 9 lbs. 2oz and was 28 1/2 inches long. Papa and Taylor were very excited. That was a very nice trout. Taylor had her picture taken with it and it was put in the little convenience store in the area. It read "Can you beat this little girls Big Catch". Everyone who came in wanted to know where she had caught that rainbow.
