Largemuth Bass

I was walking around the lake looking for a spot to fish so I check this one spot out and set up all of a sudden I see a big 21 inch, 8 pound largemouth bass 5 feet away from shore. So I rigged my pole with a night crawler and sat it in its face. It took off, came back took off, and then circled my bait, then he took off and I thought he was spooked but I hooked him. I reeled him right in with a good fight. When I took the hook out I barely tapped it and it fell right out. If I gave him any slack he would have slipped out. Boy oh boy, I'm so stoked.
