It was a Sunday Night about 10:30 pm, and I had to leave to go to work the next morning, when my friend told me to stay a little longer. So about the 17th cast I hooked up with what I thought was moss or a rock, until this monster came flying out of the water and slapped its tail. I was fishing off shore, using a 1/4 oz jig head with a Zoom Fat Albert chartreuse/Pepper curly tail grub. It was a catch of a life time for the area that I live in.
She weighed 9lbs. 8oz. and 29in. long.
